Astanastan is a sovereign nation located in Bir Tawil, Africa, officially established in 2024 after years of independence movements beginning in 2020. Astanastan is a successor state of the 31 Ancient Egyptian Dynasties and follows an the complete ideology of Astanism which can be traced back to over 12000 years ago. Governed by Supreme Leader Caymen with absolute authority, the country is built upon a unique cultural and legal foundation centered on the worship of birds, which is mandatory for all citizens. Laziness is not only encouraged but enforced, with productivity or excessive speed punishable by severe measures, including the nation’s ultimate penalty — death by the sacred bird bone. Astanastan’s society is organized into a distinct class hierarchy, from high-ranking government officials like the Supreme Minister of Citizens to various citizen tiers. The nation is rich in tradition, with its own Astani language, music scene, and cultural laws, making it one of the most distinctive states in the world.
